San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum The USS Midway was the Navy's most accomplished carrier and now is the flagship of aircraft carrier museums. More than 225,000 Americans served America aboard the CV-41. The Museum is open 7 days a week from 10 AM to 5 PM. San Diego Zoo Visit the zoo renowned as one of the best zoos in the world. As a guest of the San Diego Zoo, every dollar you spend enables the staff to continue conservation and research work. San Diego Wild Animal Park The Wild Animal Park is a short drive north on I-15 and is well worth the visit. The Wild Animal Park is part of the San Diego Zoo. The park opens daily at 9 AM.
